Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Nexus Notary offers the convenience of mobile notary services and will come to your home to accomplish the signing. A public space can also be accommodated if this is your preference.

  • Typically, a loan signing such as a refinance can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes, depending on the number of documents in the loan package. Planning for at least 1 hour to complete the process is a safe bet.

  • The loan documents will be provided either from the financial institution in the mail, or more commonly will be sent to the notary electronically for printing. The notary will then bring these to the appointment for you. You'll need to provide a valid (unexpired) photo identification card (i.e. Driver's License). Your financial institution will let you know in advance if anything else is required (such as any form of payment).
